Our Approach: Plan
Understanding Your Organization
The foundation of any sovereign system strategy starts with understanding your organization deeply. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or cookie-cutter approaches. Instead, we invest time in learning about your unique workflows, systems, and needs.
What We Do
Map Your Organization - We examine your current IT infrastructure, identifying all systems, data flows, and external dependencies. This includes SAAS services, cloud providers, and third-party integrations.
Read Your Quality Manual - For regulated industries like healthcare and life sciences, your quality manual isn’t just documentation鈥攊t’s the blueprint of your operations. We study it to understand your compliance requirements and critical processes.
Understand Your Workflows - We talk to your teams, observe how work actually gets done (not just how it’s documented), and identify where systems support or hinder your operations.
The Output: A Risk-Based Plan
The result is a comprehensive plan that charts where your systems are sensitive to unwanted third-party influence. We help you understand:
- Critical Dependencies - Which external services are critical to your operations?
- Risk Assessment - What happens if a vendor changes pricing, discontinues a service, or gets acquired?
- Compliance Exposure - Where might GDPR or other regulatory requirements be at risk?
- Business Continuity - Which dependencies pose the greatest threat to your ability to operate?
Pragmatic Risk Management
We’re pragmatic. Not every risk needs to be eliminated. Some third-party dependencies make perfect business sense. Our approach helps you:
- Prioritize high-impact, high-probability risks
- Identify “low-hanging fruit” - easy wins that significantly reduce risk
- Make informed decisions about which risks to accept
- Understand your alternatives before you need them
The plan is yours. You can execute it yourself, ask us to help, or simply use it to understand your position better. There’s no obligation to proceed beyond the planning phase.
Next Steps
Once you’re satisfied with the plan, you can move forward with execution - either independently or with our support.
